The
traditional solar
inverter is to collect DC
power from each solar panel and then convert
them to AC power, the micro-inverter
is to convert each single solar cell DC
power into AC power fifirstly then
collect the
AC power. So micro-inverter can
realize the
maximum power point tracking (MPPT)
at the
module level, which has
the advantage
over the centralized inverter. In this
way, the output power of each module can
be optimized to maximum for whole output
power, Micro-inverter technology integrates
the inverter directly with a single PV
module, which is equipped with an inverter
module with DC/AC conversion function
and maximum power point tracking function,
the electricity from PV modules is directly
converted into AC power for AC load use
or transmission to the power grid.
