1. Quality variation has been greatly decreasedfrom about *0g in manual operation to 5.5 g with the *-pocket type (**0 cans / minute) in citrus pulp cell processing. Current variation in the processing of **0 cans per minute is 1.9 g for corn kernels and 4.5 g for azuki (red) beans.

2. In conventional manual operation, work environment contamination with scattered citrus pulp cells was identified by brand observers. Mechanization of the operation has improved the situation

3. Manpower was reduced from 6 workers to process *0 cans per minute in manual operation to zero workers in mechanical operation. Moreover, high-speed operation has become possible without full-time workers.

This equipment was first introduced to citrus pulp cell processing and now its usage has expanded to other grains such as corn kernels, azuki (red) beans, nata de coco and grapes.
