We’ve chosen the Columbus Brain tubes, which are light and thin, without being extreme, to make a racing frame but without gears, beautiful handlebars mounted upside down, tyres that look like tubolars on two light wheels but with double inner tubes, two spectacular vintage hubs, from the Fratelli Brivio in steel and aluminium, Way Assauto crank and powerful brakes. It’s all there, a bike that is light, springy, well-balanced and goes like a dream. Don’t ask us to add mudguards or stands, because we won’t!
