TOFA (Tall Oil Fatty Acid) is a liquid extract produced from pine
trees. TOFA and its derivatives are used in the
manufacturing of soaps and detergents, paints and coatings, mining,
metalworking fluids, corrosion inhibitors and fuel additives.
TOFA is a blend of C*8 unsaturated mono carboxylic acids, and
rosins.
