The method of exploitation of ore is influenced by the mode of occurrence of the mineral deposit in 
the ground, geological, engineering and technical limitations, environmental considerations, and 
economics of the project. Shenda deposit will be mined by open pit mining method and will be 
followed by the underground mining method. Once ore has been mined and stockpiled near the 
processing plant, wheel loaders will start feeding the crusher to crush the material into sizes that can 
be milled by Autogenous SAG mill and a ball mills. The crushed ore then will be taken through the SAG 
and a ball mill which will be followed by a series of ore processing methods. The basic operations that 
will be involved in the cyanidizaton process are dissolution of the gold, adsorption of gold onto 
activated carbon, stripping the carbon off the gold, electrolytic winning of the gold and smelting.
