The SHICM is a high quality home automation module with two independent isolated channels. Each channel is an channel which can sense either contact closure or low voltage . The SHICM is capable of transmitting and receiving UPB commands and status over the existing powerlines. By transmitting the status of each sensed channel, it can trigger other UPB devices to perform actions as preprogrammed.
