We are amongst the worlds seventh-largest wheat producer and is
forecasted to be the fifth-largest exporter for the ***1/*2
marketing year. In ***1, Our wheat exports were valued at very
high, with Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, and Bangladesh as
the primary destinations. Through February ***2, We had shipped
approximately *5 percent of its expected wheat exports for the
marketing year, which is typical. Winter wheat accounts for about
*7 percent of Ukraines total wheat production. It is planted from
early September to mid-November and harvested between July and
September. Production is concentrated in the southeastern region
of the country.
