We are TEXLIFE - the first successful collector of used clothes and
textiles in Bulgaria since ***6. We are
implementing an effective collection system well adjusted to the
local specifics. In cooperation with the strongest
Bulgarian charity organisation Bulgarian Red cross, we are
collecting used clothes and textiles mostly in the big
cities of Bulgaria with ca. **0 bins on **0 locations in ***4. Our
containers are placed on top locations mainly on
parkings of supermarkets, retail parks, shopping malls, in schools,
kindergarten, churches and hospitals. We have
established strategic partnerships with companies like Kaufland,
Billa, Lidl, Fantastico, Metro, Ikea, Mr. Bricolage,
Hippoland, KFC, Inditex (Zara), OMV, T-Market, CBA, Burlex, HIT Max
and others as well as with some municipalities.
Since ***6 we were able to collect over *0 Million kg.
Based on the shared figures above TEXLIFE is a pioneer and a
market leader in the textile collecting sector in
Bulgaria.
Our long term plan is to place up to ***0 collecting bins in
Bulgaria and to collect annually up to 4.**0 tons.
THE ROOTS OF OUR MOTIVATION
- The increasing destruction of valuable raw materials and
resources on our planet due to human actions and
climate change diminish the chance of current and future
generations to enjoy a happy way of life. It is the present
and future of our children now to take care of the resources of
our planet.
- Our task and objective is to bring the thrown away textiles
back into the economic cycle and in this way to decrease
the use of new valuable nature resources for new production as
well as to reduce the related environmental
pollution of air, water and land!
- Providing people in Third world countries with the possibility
to have clothing is another huge social impact which
is worth working for.
- Further we are proud to contribute financially on monthly basis
to the Fund for disasters of the Bulgarian Red
Cross and to help people in need in situations like earthquakes,
floods, fires, unfortunately in the last years newly
also pandemics and wars.
