Grades:
a) CLEAR: Rough sawn, four sides with no defects, no blue stain, no knots, no pith, no holes, no root, no wane, no cracks. Kiln dried ****5%.
b) COL-A (cut of log): Rough sawn, sound tight knots, lumber from side boards free of pith (central heart), no blue stain, no wane, no bark, no root, no holes, no cracks. KD ****5%.
c) COL-B: Rough sawn. Mill run grade, boards from the center of the log. Pith content on all pieces (or most of them). No dead knots, no wane, no blue stain, no bark, no root, no holes, no cracks. KD **- *5%.
d) CCAtreated. Same sizes, same gra- des. Treated for preservation with CCA.

Grade: Surfaced 4 sides (S4S). Sound tight knots, can contain pith, no dead knots, no wane, no blue stain, no resin pockets, no root, no bark, no holes, no cracks or splits. KD *2%
