Cold Work Mould Steel D3
Applications:
Cold Work Die Steel D3 mainly used to substitute the widely used
valuable die steel such as Cr*2MOV, Cr*2 and O1 and is used to
manufacture the back plates of the precise dies, silica gel dies,
keyboard dies, plastic crushing blades, precise gauges, etc. It can
also be used to substitute O1to make the long-life movable printing
steel plate, etc. Delivery Condition:

Cold Work Mould Steel D3 is a new generation of economical cold
work die steel which is developed by optimizing and improving the
chemical compositions based on the **0 series of high-carbon
high-chromium cold work tool steel in the ASTM standard. It mainly
meets the demands of the market for precise dies and accessories of
medium aservice life. Cold Work Mould Steel D3 features a small
heet treatment defcmation and high wear resistance (close to D3).
The toughness of the steel is superior to D3 steel. The hardness
can reach ****4HRC after treatment and can be used for the back
plates of tools and dies, gauges and cutters.
