1. Scope 

This Specification describes the characters of *4K UTK UIM card of Shenzhen Grcard Smart Card Co., Ltd. The description includes:

  ——Hardware Feature

          This is mainly the memory of the *4Kcard. SP (Service Provider) can plan and organize the UTK application more effectively according to this.

—— UTK Application Feature

         This is mainly for some application in common use. Such as Super Phone Book, Sms Group, Personal Confidential Data Security, etc.

—— File System

         This is the structure ofthe file system. This knowledge is necessary in order to make an efficient and correct personalization.

—— More Feature In SIM/UIM Card

         This is for some features used in SIM/UIM card.

2.Hardware Feature 

*4K UTK card's memory feature as follow:
* RAM: **6bytes Internal RAM,2K bytes external RAM
* ROM: not less than *0Kfor file system and UTK application
So, when SP design UTK applications, please make sure the space enough.

3. UTK Application Feature 

3.1 Super Phone Book

Usually, not more than **0 records of ADN in one SIM/UIM card. But this number can be bigger in one UTK card with a super phone book application.
Super Phone Book can extend ADN records to *******0. The application maybe takes ***0K data space, and one extend ADN file takes 7K data space. So More Space should be left for it.

3.2 SMS Group
SMS Group can help customers to send sms more convenience.
In this application, customers can send new message or message in inbox to many people as group.

3.3 Personal Confidential Data Security 

This application can save some confidential data for customer. And customer can protect the data by password. User correct pwd, then can view or modify the data. Error pwd will be forbided.

4. More Feature

4.1 Evdo card For CDMA
Our card can support CDMA EVOD, and if you need EVDO, please let us know, and we can provide you EVDO card.

4.2 OTA technique 

OTA, over the air. If SP want to provide it for customers. there are 2 necessary conditions: first is the UTK card must support it, second is OTA server(Hardware & Software).Using this technical, User can add or delete the application in UTK card as personal requirement or need. And SP also can add or delete the application in user's card, or Provide new application for user to download from the Server.

Our card can support CDMA ***0,and if you need CDMA ***0,please let us know, and we can provide you CDMA ***0 Card.
