CPO is an edible vegetable oil extracted from the pulp
of oil palm fruits. It is used as a raw
material in both food and non-food
industries. After refining, CPO is mainly
used for edible purposes. Some CPO is also
used to make biodiesel, with glycerine as a
byproduct.
