The ACR**2 is a USB Plug and Play device with CCID compliance. It is also PC/SC compliant which allows interoperability for different applications development. Typical applications of the ACR**2 reader include access control, e-payment, e-ticketing for events and mass transit, toll road fare collection and network authentication.
