APPLICATION
This battery discharge indicator is ideal for golf cars, hunting
buggies, commercial leaning equipment, mobility aids, electric
bicycles, and similar equipment.
FEATURES
Higher integrated circuits for long-life reliability.
A **-bar high light LED displays the state of charge successively,
bar by bar.
At *0% depth of discharge, a flashing LED signals an ENERGY RESERVE
alert.
At *0%, alternately flashing LEDs provides an EMPTY status
warning.
It is compact and easy to install.
Recognizes improperly charged battery.
Key switch activated LED display (state-of-charge is monitored as
long as the BDI is connected to battery).

RESET METHODS
Open Circuit Reset (OCR).
Upon reconnection of a battery, the BDI will reset to the full
status if it measures 2.*9 volts/cell or higher.
Battery Charging Reset (BCR)
During charging, the BDI will light LED bar by bar according to the
increased battery capacity, the BDI will reset to the full state
when the BDI measures the voltage of per cell up to 2.*5 volts or
higher.
OPTIONS
Pin 3 is the collector of a triode without high drive
ability. Pin 3 will output a pulse (Note.1) voltage at *0%
discharge of battery. It can be used to signal another component or
to allow for the disabling of a specified vehicle function,
insuring against abusive deep discharge conditions.
(Note.1: Output Saturation Voltage: **0 mV (Type) at *0 mA; Maximum
VCE is *0V; Frequency is 1Hz.)
