Alcohol resistant aqueous film forming foam extinguishing agent (AR-AFFF) is an earth friendly advanced totally synthetic blend of surfactants and special polyers. The foam creats a physical polyer-membrane barrier between the foam blanket and fuel surface. It is highly effective against hydrocarbon fires and with the addition of special polyers. It is also highly effective against polar solvents. It is highly versatile and so eliminates the need to stock a variety of foam types. It gives a superior burn back resistance and post-fire secruity. It is used in high risk situations where crude oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, alcohols, ketones, esters and ethers are stored, processed or transported. It is available in three different types: 1%, 3% and 6%.
