We are glad to introduce you with our art glass program. We made a beautiful and unique peaces of glass using a fusing process. Fusion is a timeless, high quality line that is sure to be the heirloom of the *1st century. By melting 2 pieces of glass together, sealing the lead free paint between the two panes, this giftware becomes virtually timeless. During the process of fusing glass, pieces of compatible glass are fired in a kiln to a temperature between **0 and **0 degrees C until they are red-hot and melt together.The glass is then fired a second time to a slightly lower temperature to slump into the desired shape and then annealed (a slow cooling process). Many unexpected and wonderful things can happen in each firing that make each piece unique. The fusing technique we uses is not new. It is five thousand years old, and was prevalent in ancient Egypt and Rome.
