PE-X
pipesare used safely in floor heating systems, cold-hot water
installations, and mobile installations. With cross-link process,
the PE raw material becomes resistant to high temperature and
pressure as a result of the cross linked molecules. Nowadays, these
pipes are widely preferred as they have low cost and they are more
effective than traditional heating methods. As PE-X
pipes are produced multipurpose, they have several sub-classes;
those are PE-Xa, PE-Xb, PE-Xc and PE-Xd. Here, the
a,b,c,d letters stand for the link density in the cross-link of the
carbon atoms in the different chains in polyethylene during
production and density decreases from a to d. As link density
increases, resistance to pressure and heat also increases but
flexibility decreases. This causes difficulties in floor heating
systems and trying to heat the pipes for the sake of flexibility
causes time and labour loss. PE-RT pipes do not have a complex
structure like PE-X, they are designed with advanced technology to
be used only in floor heating, and they have maximum flexibility
and maximum resistance to pressure and heat. PE-RT pipes can be
laid easily in *0cm turning distances even under **0 C temperature
without extra heating. In floor heating system, pipe gaps will
directly affect thermal efficiency and comfort, so calculations and
practices must be carried out very carefully

Pipes
They are laid easily as they are flexible and
light. They do not
calcify, rust or deteriorate. They are resistant to high and low
temperatures. They are practically joint and
easily cut. They are environment friendly and
healthy. Their friction
coefficient is low. They save labour, material
and
time.
