Casting process: Lost Foam foundry
processing is that the foam disappear when the molten steel is
filled and the castings will be done.
Casting crafts:
The molten steel should be poured at
the end in order to have a smooth filling which would not have a
big cavity for the general Castings.
Pouring channel sectional area
should not be too large because the suction and gravity of the
vacuum and liquid steel would fill fast.
Foundry processing is different
between EPC technology and traditional sand casting:Open mouthed
moulding is used in traditional process while close type moulding
is used in EPC process.
Note: vacuum suction should be
controlled and adjusted while pouring the molten steel
