This pump is a compressed air driver pump used to transfer the refrigerant from the refrigerant tank to the refrigerant charging machines in case that they are far apart.
 
The compression ratio is 3.*5 times the compressed air pressure.
 
This transfer pump has a dual effect refrigerant cylinder, driven by a dual effect air cylinder.
 
The refrigerant pipes are terminated with check valves for the correct working, and a manometer is located close to the output quick connection in order to check the output pressure.
 
A safety overpressure valve is present on the output side in order to recirculate the gas in case of misoperations in compressed air adjustment.
 
In the compressed air circuit is present a pressure regulator with the relevant manometer, in order to adjust and check the correct operation of the unit. A lubrication unit is used to lubricate only the air cylinder, in order to guarantee the correct movement.
 
A special filter is located at the output side of the air cylinder driver valve. This is to avoid that the nebulized oil goes out from the silencers. The residual oil is collected in the bottom part of this filter. The user has only to check the level regularly and remove the oil when the level is too high.
 
It is important to guarantee the correct liquid gas supply to the transfer pump. Make sure the inlet piping is correctly dimensioned. It is a correct procedure to add a gas filter in the inlet line, to guarantee that no dirty can go inside the pump, causing problems in its operation.
