Gabion Baskets

Gabion Baskets (Boxes) are made of hexagonal Galvanized / PVC / Zinc coated double-twisted mild steel wire mesh.

Gabion baskets shall be supplied in various lengths, widths and heights. In order to strengthen the baskets, all the edges of the structure shall be selvedged with wire of greater diameter.

The wire mesh used in Gabion Baskets production strictly conforms to EN******3 and gabions also meet the requirements of ASTM A*****7.

All wires used in Gabion Baskets and lacing wire have the tensile strength of ******0N/mm according to EN******3, 2 BS***2/*0 and ASTM A*****7. (The figures above are of the wire prior to manufacturing mesh).

All mild steel wire is heavily zinc coated. When used in more severe environments, a 0,5 mm nominal thick PVC coating is extruded over the galvanised wire to provide added protection. Reinforced gabions are manufactured in hexagonal woven wire Mesh Type *0. Gabion mesh case can be filled with stones, especially the round stone or the fresh stone which was produced from the quarry. If you need the material with special gravity, Gabion mesh certainly can be your first choice. For persistency of the structure, these stones must be able to resist the climatic change, it is must be quite hard.
