Industrial aqueous Basic Magnesium Carbonate, its abbreviation Slight Magnesium Carbonate.  
Molecular formula is 4MgCO3.Mg(OH)2.8H2O. White monoclinic crystal or amorphous powder, 
innocuous, odourless, stable in air. Slightly dissolvable in water, makes water alkalescence. Light 
Magnesium Carbonate usually decomposes into H2O, CO2 and Magnesium Oxide at over **0.

4.Uses: 

It may be used as a material for thermal insulation and fire resistance. Asbestos Light Magnesium 
Carbonate is a fine insulating material, and may be applied to areas of shipbuilding and boiler 
manufacture etc, and also applied to manufacture chemicals for daily service and medicine, such 
as top grade glasswork, magnesium salts, pigment, paint, fire retardant coating, printing ink, ceramics, 
cosmetics, toothpaste etc. Eatable grade Light Magnesium Carbonate may be used as flour additive, 
and drier, color fixing agent, carrier, and anti-agglomeration
