Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is a compound glass, made by placing a tough PVB
film between two pieces of glass and firmly jointed at high
temperature and pressure. With good toughness, PVB film can rapidly
reduce most of the impact when the laminated glass is crashed. So
the laminated glass is hardly broken through, and even if it is
broken, the glass fragments will be adhered to the PVB film. That
makes it a real safety glass. Laminated glass consisting of
transparent PVB film has almost the same appearance and
installation method as ordinary glass, but it is durable in
use.
Features:
1. Safety:Once crashed, the glass fragments is still
remained in the original glass frame, which ensures the safety of
people near.
2. Hurricaneand earthquake protection: Even if broken,
the whole glass will not drop down but remain in place.
3. Resistance to bullet and explosion:The laminated
glass can be used to make different levels of bulletproof glass and
explosion-proof glass.
4. UV protection:Can obstruct most of solar
ultraviolet and protect people from the ultraviolet radiation.
5. Sound insulation:PVB film can block some sound wave
and reduce noises.
Application: widely used in door/window, curtain wall, ceiling,
pedestal-supported panel, furniture, showcase and counter of
buildings as well as in aquaria and large glass wall.
