Unit description

Small Domestic / Commercial Air Cooled Heat Pump were developed to provide a simple and effective response to the HVAC requirements of residential and small business user. It can provide comfortable air both in summer and winter, and create hot water for sanitary use all the year round. With factory completed and tested package accessories, make the on site installation just involves making connections between the main power and water supplies.

Structure

Panels and base frame are made from galvanized steel protected with polyester powder painting to ensure total resistance to atmospheric agent. 

Hermetic compressor

Single phase rotary compressor, single phase scroll compressor and three phase scroll compressor with thermal overload cut-out and crankcase heater, mounted on rubber vibration isolators. The compressor is located in a room separated from the condenser.

Axial fans

External rotor type axial fans, equipped with single phase direct drive motor, low noise 6 poles, protection level IP*4, provided with a protective outlet grille. The unit is also equipped as standard with a speed control system capable of adapting step less speed adjusting aerodynamically and immediately to match climate conditions. This feature therefore enhances the silence of operation during the hours of darkness and whenever ambient conditions allow a reduction of fan speed.

Evaporator

High efficiency AISI **6 stainless steel brazed plate exchanger insulated with a closed-cell material and a differential pressure switch mounted on the water side.

Condenser

Build with high efficiency internal screw threads red copper tube mechanically expanded into hydrophilic aluminum fins, provided with protective grille.

Refrigerant circuit

Copper tube connected with charge valve, filter drier, sight glass, thermal expansion valve, gas-liquid separator, *-way valve, liquid receiver, high pressure switch with manual reset, low pressure switch with automatic reset.

Hydraulic circuit

Hydraulic circuit built with internal water storage tank, air vent valve, water drain connection, safety valve, water pump, expansion vessel, differential switch and female-threaded hydraulic connector. The hydraulic circuit is protected also with anti-freezing electric heater to protect the circuit from freezing in low ambient temperature.
