MENGSHI medium
temperature alpha-amylase is a bacterial amylase preparation
derived from Bacillus licheniformis extract. It can hydrolyze α*1,4
glycosidic bond of the starch. It is widely used in liquefaction
process in the production of starch sugar, alcohol, beer,
monosodium glutamate and in other fermentation industry, and the
desizing of textile, printing and dyeing.
