Three Piece Cut Tyre is either cut from both sides to convert it
into three pieces or is cut horizontally in euqal intervals to get
three or more pieces as per client's requirements. The center piece
is then shrunk and tied with steel wires to save space when loading
in containers. These tyres are shipped in *0' containers and one
container can carry maximum of *8Tons of
weight. One
cut tyre is same in shape, the only difference is there there is a
significant cut on the tyre which makes it useless as a tyre. This
operation is required by customs of some countries in order to take
them under scrap tariff duty structure. The cut ensures that the
tyre can only be used as scrap and can not be further used by any
vehicle. Some Cement companies, whose kiln can accept whole tyres
prefer this form and feed whole tyres into the kiln at regular
intervals. Scrap
Tyres are fed into a shredder to cut them into small pieces that
can easily be loaded into containers as well as fed into the kilns.
Shredded tyres vary in size and are very irregular. maximum size
differs from one shredder to another. Usually it is between 5cm to
8 cm.
