Yarn from Polypropylene. Scope of delivery from chips conveying unit

via extruder, screen changer, spinning system, quenching unit, draw

take-up machine including automatic revolving-type winders. Raw

material is polypropylene chips MFJ ****5. Consisting of;

Spinning Equipment

**1 suction box for PP chips silo (silo not included in scope)

**1 automatic conveying unit for PP chips, masterbatch and additive

**1 Colortronic F*0TL gravimetric metering unit for 3 components

**1 Davis-Standard FiberMaster II screw-type extruder, model

**0MM*5, complete with drive and controlling equipment

**1 gauge head

**1 polymer pipeline, heated with Dowtherm vapour, for distributing the

melt from extruder to spinning beam

**1 Neumag spinning beam with 4 positions, **0 deg. C., ***0 mm

pitch, 2 x two-stream spinning pumps and 4 special spin-packs per

position

**6 static mixers located in front of each spin pack, Kenics-type with 6

elements

**1 spinning pump drive with 2 gearings, 2 synchronous motors with

brake, 2 spinning pump drive shafts and 2 on/off switches per position

complete with electrical equipment

**4 single inverters for spinning pump drive, each single inverter feeds

2 spinning pumps

**8 spinning pumps, 2 x *3 cm3/rev.

**8 spinning pump protection plates

**6 spin packs (round design)

**6 spinnerets

**1 Dowtherm vapour generator, power *7 kW

**4 quench air ducts, **0 mm wide, ***0 mm high, with spinning tube

and air distribution channel

**1 quench air unit for approximately *5,**0 m3/hr quench air with

pipe system and automatic controlling equipment.

Draw Take-Up Equipment

**1 spin finish system for 4 positions with metering pumps, drive,

piping and finish tank

**1 draw take-up machine with 4 positions, ***0 mm pitch, for

drawing 4, 2 or 1 end per position for accommodating 2 Witras ***2 RT

winders per position. Each position is provided with;

-inlet thread guide

-yarn aspirator and yarn cutter for 4, 2 or 1 ends

-inlet godet, non-heated - **0 mm dia, drive by synchronous motor,

speed: ******0 m/min

-idler roll - dia *0 mm

-draw godet duo 1 - dia **0 mm, godet length **0 mm, with 6 zones

heating with Ferrit inductor, contactless measuring transmission, drive

heating with Ferrit inductor, contactless measuring transmission, drive
