The 8 degree collets seat deeper in the body of
the holder providing increased rigidity.
This also results in better concentricity and
stronger gripping power.
High accuracy: Rut-out accuracy is less than 5
micron at four times the diameter of the cutting tool
shank.
Due to Chongde’s special heat treatment, grinding
and custom slotting process, they are what guarantee a 5 or 8
micron run out, tolerance for their “on size” fractional and metric

Our steep 8 degree collet seats deeper in the body
of the holder providing twice more clamping force and twice more
precision than traditional *6 degree ER collets.

coolant system.
Chongde SK collets are clamping devices that were
