There are two kinds of aluminium pastes, one is leafing and the
other is non-leafing. The leafing one can float on the surface
of coating film because of its low surface tension, so it will drop
from surface of coating film easily and recoating is difficult, but
the surface has high ability of reflecting light and strong
Chrome effects, so this one can be only used in anticorrosion
coating、roof coating、tank coating, etc. The non-leafing
one can be wetted easily by the binder, the aluminium
particles can lie down and distribute within the coating film
evenly, the film is strong and the recoating is possible, this one
can be used in traffic tools, house-electrical appliances,
electronic product coil coating, etc.
