1. Main characters: Checker bricks for hot blast furnace have good
volume stability, low creep under high temperature, low apparent
porosity and high bulk density.
2. Applications: The checker bricks are mainly used in hot blast
furnace. When hot blast is below **0℃, checker bricks are use of
clay refractory brick; if the temperature for the hot blast is
above **0℃, checker bricks is use of high alumina brick, mullite
brick, silicon brick and etc.
