BIAX originated almost a decade ago from the brass city of India … Jamnagar where first factory is situated. Jamnagar is known worldwide as 'The Brass City'. Ready availability of raw material, abundant labor and Jamnagar's casting-friendly weather made the city, a haven for manufacturers of brass components. It's here that BIAX has dedicated *0,**0 square feet of manufacturing facilities and devoted *0 years of professionalism to achieve specialization in Electrical Components. Backed by regularly updated technology, state of the art machinery and continuous research and development.

With a capacity of ***0 tones per annum, BIAX started manufacturing more than **0 different varieties of Brass Components. The in-house extrusion plant helped the company to increase its production efficiency and execute orders in time, besides implementing rigorous quality control at every stage. BIAX infused a very basic element of qualitative excellence in its entire range of products.This saga continued till ***1 where by the BIAX METALS had already made its presence in Europe, Gulf and M.E, Asia and USA through its initial products like Cable Glands, Flexible Conduits, Earthing & Lightning Protection system and a broad range of customized. 

Sept ***1 saw an expansion in company by addition of an entirely new range of products under the aegis of BIAX ELECTRIC & CONTROLS PVT. LTD. and birth of BIAX GROUP. The move was a radical shift from component level to product level by leveraging manufacturing skills and offer a range of sub sea cable connectors, Termination parts  and accessories. Flanges, Stub ends, Ferrules, Special cable fittings, Hose fittings Instead of  LV Switchgear products to existing as well as new customers and OEMs. Introduction of Control & Signaling devices, Relays and Timer, Limit Switches and Sensors, Transformers and Energy Saving & Management Systems, FRP and SMC products   became complementary to the existing range and offered a solution from one source to existing customers.

Today BIAX GROUP through its impressive portfolio of products and services is on continuous expansion in more than *7 countries through a well diversified and dedicated network of customers, distributors and OEMs carrying leading positions in respective industries across six continents. As a step towards integration, Biax has brought instead   is bringing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Silvassa (near Mumbai) to further leverage its capabilities for OEM business and offer a platform for cost-effective outsourcing solution through joint ventures, buy backs and collaborations in electrical engineering sector.

All BIAX plants are ISO certified and products carrying approvals from Internationally accredited laboratories like UL and CSA. BIAX products comply with the relevant and accepted International Standards.
