The TEXHA company presents one of their brand new products – the
Alternative System for Management of Layers Baltica. It’s
produced on the base of the TBNE cage, which is well-known in
poultry world and appreciated by the poultry specialists.
Baltica
was created for housing of commercial layers according to the
European standards.
The Baltica system has all the advantages of TBNE cage: it provides
the optimal conditions for poultry housing, significantly
saves your money and has long exploitation terms. The main
distinction of Baltica is the bigger space, which is provided
for
poultry pasture.
Why it is so important? First of all, it absolutely meets the
European standards and the strict laws on treating the
livestock,
including the EU Directive ***9/*4. Second of all, Baltica does a
significant contribution into increasing the quality of
your
product. The wide space for pasture guarantees psychological health
of the poultry and, correspondently, the higher rate of
egg-laying qualities and quality of eggs.
How TEXHA provides the comfortable poultry housing in Baltica? The
doors of the system may be opened upwards. The layers
are able to go out of the system through the open door and walk on
the area above the egg collection tray or move from tier
to
tier. That’s why the pasture area increases.
Taking into consideration that the layers may go out on the floor
of poultry house, the floor area is added to the usable
area.
The niche under the battery (the area from the floor to the first
tier) may be closed for better maintenance.
What does Baltica provide?
1. Optimal conditions for poultry
housing
The system is equipped with 3 roosts, which help birds to feel free
and protects them
from emotional stress because of the closed space
The nest with a shutter lets the birds feel comfortable
The incline of the floor is 7°. It enables free rolling down of
eggs onto the egg-gathering
belt. The nests are located close to egg-gathering tray, what helps
to reduce the incision
on eggs while their rolling down. The protective shield made from
galvanized steel
preserves eggs from pecking and prevents falling of manure into
egg-gathering tray
Using of solid diametrical galvanized partitions with perforation
makes the system
firm, improves the micro-climate in the poultry house, provides
good air conditioning
The minimal using of plastic elements improves the hygiene and
enables washing
with hot water under the pressure
2. Exploitation
period
The Baltica system is made of highquality
steel covered with 1 class zink
The floor mesh is very firm
The steel file-hard sprockets are used
in the drives
The necessary firmness reserve has
been provided
3. Low exploitation expenses
The energy-saving technologies
are
used in Baltica. The electrical devices
power is 4.8 KW in each battery
The lift egg-gathering system saves
energy and labor expenses
The system of planned-prophylactic
repairs has been created
FEEDING SYSTEM
Baltica has automatic feeding system and chain feed distribution.
Being installed inside of the system it enables doubling
of feeding front.
Baltica Feeding System Components
- Hopper
- Feed distribution chains
- Feed chute
- Feed distribution drive
- Turner
DRINKING SYSTEM
Drinking system in Baltica is simple, reliable, and
effective.
Drinking System Components
- Water treatment unit: water meter,
medicator, two filters for mechanical water
cleaning, manometers, stop valves
- Water distribution system
- Drinking lines
Each system is equipped with three drinking
bowls. It provides birds with necessary amount
of water.
The pressure control may be installed into drinking
system if required.
Feeding System Advantages
- Effectiveness and durability
- Easy installing
- Feed loss reducing
- Perfect solution for any poultry house
- Grooved shiny hopper surface does not allow feed
overheating
- Feed distribution productivity – **6 tons per hour
MANURE EVACUATION
SYSTEM
The Baltica’s manure evacuation system enables fast and qualitative
manure removing. The system’s drive is powerful, simple,
reliable, and durable.
The drive system is used for driving of
manure evacuation belts. It has built-up
construction and consists of sides of
2 mm width and driving drums, which
are installed on the special bearing with
spherical circular surface. The driving
of drums is done by motor-reductor
(2 drums per 1 motor-reductor).
The take-up station controls and
tightens the manure evacuation belts.
The framework of the stations is
dismountable. It is made of galvanized
steel. The belt is tightened by shaft with
a spiral screw by means of the chain
through the ratchet mechanism. The
belts wart may be removed by means
of the screws located on the brackets
of shaft’s fastenings. The shaft and
scrapers enable inside cleaning of the
belt.
The longitudinal manure evacuation
belts are made of solid polypropylene and installed under each
tier. They are cleaned by scrapers made from wear-resistant
material.
The system provides fast and qualitative manure evacuation onto
diametrical transporter.
Manure is removed from the poultry house by inclined transporter
and loaded onto vehicle. The air humidity while manure
evacuation
is up to *5 %. It helps easy evacuation of manure and immediate
using it as fertilizer. Timely manure evacuation and right
manure
consistence don’t let the excessive ammonia and water evaporation.
It contributes into favorable climate in the poultry house.
EGG GATHERING
SYSTEM
TEXHA offers using of lift or elevator egg gathering systems
in
Baltica. The systems work in reliable, careful, and accurate way.
The
other advantages of the systems are: labor reducing while
gathering
and sorting of eggs, adherence to the specifications, birds’
stress
reducing.
Components of Lift Egg Gathering System
– Longitudinal belt transporter
– Diametrical transporter with lift mechanism
– Inclined egg gathering transporter and roll-table
The elevator egg gathering system includes universal
elevator
for egg gathering and laying onto egg transporting system.
One
elevator is installed at each battery. It can be included into
general
line of eggs transporting.
