Waste heat boiler consists of the screen (uptake and vertical
downtake) connected with the horizontal gas pipeline frame where
convection heating surfaces are located.
The waste heat-boiler housing is fully constructed of
membrane walls of pipe-bridge-pipe type.
The boiler screen consists of the vertical uptake and downtake;
both are resting on the lower flange and are part of one steel
construction.

Main vertical part of the screen operates on natural circulation,
and the upper U-shaped section operates on forced circulation.
Hammers are used to improve cleaning of the heating surface
area.
Dust and deposits that are collected in the convection section
hopper are completely removed by chain conveyor, which is flange
connected with the hopper outlet. The conveyor discharges into the
lounder at the end.
