Description:
HY625# Liquid silicone for GRC molds is mainly used for
decoration and architecture with the advantages of good tensile
strength, high tear strength, high temperature resistance, high
duplication times,chemical resistance etc. It is suitable for small
products or fine and precision products which is difficult to
demould. This Liquid rubber for molds ( both Pourable and
brushable) is one of the products with the highest use level in the
production of craftwork gifts and the shrinkage is lower than
2‰. The HY625 is one of the best selling products of our company
because of its stability, and moderate viscosity and
hardness. RTV-2
silicone for GRC molds is a kind of two-component room
temperature silicone with excellent fluidity and good operational
performance. Add curing agent of 2%-3% at the room temperature, the
pourable or brush-on silicone is still operational within 30
minutes,and in 2-5 hours, an elastic and silicone mold will be
created with resistance to deformation, high temperature, low
temperature, acid and alkali and so on.
Applications:
concrete mold material, architecture molds, GRC mold making, GRC decorative moulding, molds in multiple pieces for large products, statues Buddha,and so on.

Operation Instruction for RTV-2 Liquid silicone:
If the customer wants to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of GRC silicone rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mold with fine and precision patterns , it should be made of silicon with low hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. You should weigh the mateials accurately and stir the mixture evenly when you mix the two components. The vacuum pumping time should not be too long in case of the crosslinking reaction.
The proportions and reactions of the curing agent and the silicone products are listed as follows:
1. Adding curing agent 1%, the silicone mold material remains operated within 2.5 hours and can be demoulded after 6-8 hours.
2. Adding curing agent 2%, the silicone mold material remains operated within 50 minutes to 1 hour and can be demoulded after 2-3 hours.
3. Adding curing agent 3%, the silicone mold material remains operated within 28 - 30 minutes and can be demoulded after 1.5-2 hours.
4. Adding curing agent 4%, the
silicone mold material remains operated within 10 - 15 minutes
and can be demoulded after 1 -1.5
hours.
