HID compatible card reader
Introduction
HM***5 is designed with **5KHz FM modulation RFID card reader
technology, it is HID compatible Proximity card reader. HM***5
reads all HID standard **5KHz proximity card serial number ( such
as HID ***6 card, HID ***6 card and HID Prox II card and HID FOB
tag etc ) and transmits HID proximity card number to the access
control system using the common Wiegand interface, HM***5 can be
with other OEM interface requirements in the future

LED/Buzzer function description
LED function: The LED color is normally in RED. It starts with 2
green flashes on power up HID compatible card reader HM***5 and
remains RED. When a HID proximity card is present to the reader,
The LED will momentarily flash green, this indicates that the
proximity card was read properly by the reader. When the LED
control signal is activated by access controller host, the LED
changes to green.
Beeper Function: Power up the HID compatible card reader, the
beeper will activate 2 times. When a HID proximity card is
presented to the hid Proximity card reader, a short beep will be
emitted. This indicates that the HID proximity card was read
properly by the reader HM***5. When the Buzzer control signal is
activate by access controller, the buzzer will sound till buzzer
control line is released by the controller.
Hold function: when this line is activated by access controller
HOST ,the reader will buffer one card read ( ignoring subsequent
reads ) until the line is released.( high or released by access
controller HOST).
