Brief Introduction
Single jib level luffing crane is an economical type portal crane, which is widely used in loading and unloading bulk cargo (like coal, ore) , container or other goods in wharf and ship yard as well.
Advantages
The single jib level luffing crane has such advantages as simple structure, light dead weight, low wheel load, low investment and cost in civil engineering when compared with four-link type level luffing crane used generally.
Structure
Single jib level luffing crane is of simple type, which is composed by steel structure, lifting mechanism, wire rope luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism, crane traveling mechanism, spreader device (as grab / clamshell, container spreader, magnetic, hook and etc.), electric device and other essential safety and accessorial device.
Compensation pulley wire rope winding system or compensation reel wire rope winding system being used in wire rope winding system, which leads to a almost level status of lifting point during lifting operation that safety and reliable crane operation can be assured.
Simple structure of steel structure is composed by jib, A-shape frame, slewing platform and gantry.

- lifting capacity can be 5t, *0t, *6t, *5t, *0t, *0t, **0t (main / aux. hook, grab/clamshell) or according to detailed requirements.
- working radius can be 9.5m, *2m, *7m or the real site requirements.
- lifting height (above rail / below rail) will be designed according to real site condition.
- working speed like lifting speed, luffing speed, slewing speed and traveling speed are up to our customer’s requirement (Generally, PLC control along with inverter to get frequency speed like 2.6~*6m/min).
- base / gauge for the crane is depend on site requirements (the common one for they are *0.5m×*0.5m).
- cable length for power supply of crane is provided according to site condition where level luffing crane will be used.
