Glabridin is a chemical compound found in the root extract of
licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). It is used in cosmetics for
whitening, anti-sensitizing, anti-oxidizing and anti-inflammation
due to its strong antioxidation capability, which is similar to the
SODs. This compound is also used in pharmaceuticals and health care
products to treat gastritis, ulcer, liver conditions,
