The reverse osmosis is the finest water treatment since it can
reduces the dissolved solids concentration by applying the
necessary pressure to beat the osmotic pressure, and thus it
creates two streams: concentrated brine and a purified water
stream. This procedure can be used even to treat the seawater,
remove the excess and then make it suitable for human consumption.
For the specific case of wastewater treatment, it generates high
quality water that can be used for the industrial process all over
again.
