Fire Resistant Plasterboard is the preferred product in the
industry due to its consistently high quality standards. The core
has been reinforced with the addition of fibers and some other
special additives, increasing its strength and providing fire
resistance ratings. The fire-resistant gypsum core is encased in
natural-finish paper on the face side and sturdy liner paper on the
back side. The long edges are tapered and the ends of the wallboard
are square cut, the tapered edge allows joints to be reinforced and
concealed
