is based on the Q-switched ND: YAG laser. With a pulse width of
only 6ns, a single pulse of ***4nm can achieve ***0mj. The ***4nm
and **2nm lasers take 6ns to penetrate the tissue. This then is
absorbed by the pigmentation and blasts it apart. Some of the
fragments will be bounced out of the skin, whilst the other parts
will be split into minute particles to be engulfed by phagocytes
and eliminated by the lymphatic system.
