is used for making crystal or refractory glass, in the manufacture
of paint and varnish products, for photography, as an additive in
the mortar to reduce the freezing point, liquid soap, in the
manufacture of fire-fighting equipment and for fire protection of
wood products. Also
potash is used in compound feeds for broiler
chickens.
