The new type of tare weight gripper designed and developed
independently by our company drives the kava to clamp the drilling
tools making use of the tare weight. The heavier are the drilling
tools, the tighter is the clamping, completely solving the problem
of drill running because of the scarcity of the clamping force of
the traditional grippers. The new type of tare weight gripper,
maintaining the relevant good clamping effects, not only
significantly reduces the volume and weight of the gripper but also
achieves the function innovation of removing the gripper at any
time in the case of not moving the drilling pipe. The new type of
tare weight gripper is suitable for clamping rope drilling pipes of
diameters Φ*1,Φ*9,Φ**8,NQ,HQ and PQ.
