acrylate, butyl acetate, dibutyl phthalate, dibutylsebacate and
other butyl esters
2. Other industrial uses include the manufacture of
pharmaceuticals, polymers, pyroxylin plastics, herbicide
esters
3. It is also used as a diluent/reactant in the manufacture of
ureaformaldehyde and melamineformaldehyde
resins
