Andalusite is an aluminum silicate mineral, which is refractories used in spark plug and porcelain materials. It is high-quality refractory materials used for smelting industry in the production of advanced refractory, unshaped refractory and refractory bricks.
Andalusite is generally columnar
crystals, with cross-section close to the square shape. The shape
of aggregate is radially or granular, commonly known as
chrysanthemum stone. Andalusite color can be pink, rose red,
red-brown or gray, vitreous luster, medium cylindrical cleavage.
Morse hardness: 6.5 to 7.5, proportion: 3.*5 to 3.*6. Heating to
***0 ℃, Andalusite will turn into mullite, which is one of the raw
materials to produce advanced refractories.
