It exists as a watery talc in nature and hardly soluble in water,
but it dissolves in dilute acid, ammonium salt solution and so on.
It has non-toxic and stable flame retardant properties such as
minimal smoke generation during combustion and used as medicines
such as antacids.
Applications: 1) Various plastic, rubber flame retardant (PE, PP,
ABS, HIPS, nylon PVC etc.) 2) Absorbent and acid waste water
neutralizer 3) Ceramic, artificial marble
