This pole
consists of numerous tubes that are of different sizes so they fit
closely inside each other. A compression clamp is attached to each
section and used to hold the pole
extended.

Carbon fiber
enables the manufacture of even lighter and stiffer tubes. It
should be noted that carbon fibre conducts electricity. Carbon
fibre products are always black.
