Megnesium Alloy:
High specific strength, elastic modulus, good heat dissipation and
eliminate shock resistance to withstand the shock load capacity
than aluminum,organic matter and alkali resistance and good
corrosion .Mainly used in aviation, aerospace, transportation,
chemical, rockets and other industrial sectors. In the utility
metal is the lightest metal and the proportion of magnesium is
about 2/3 of aluminum, iron 1/4. It is the lightest metal in
practical metal, high strength, high rigidity.
APPLICATIONS:
AZ*1B Sheet and plate find application in medium strength service
at temperatures below **0 centigrade . Diverse uses including
aerospace, aircraft, concrete tools, 3C (cell phone / camera /
computer), speaker cones and textile machinery can all benefit from
light weight AZ*1B.
AZ*1B is non-magnetic and has high electrical and thermal
conductivity filling the requirements for RFI and EMI shielding in
the electronics and computer industries.
Superplastic forming of AZ*1B sheet at elevated temperatures allows
production of a wide variety of intricate parts for automotive
uses. Monocoque construction utilizing formed sheet can be adapted
to many commercial applications.
