This Tire Wire Scrap is a light melting scrap obtained during the combustion of used tires in a dedicated energy plant.

The material is classified as follows:

  • EWC: *9 *1 *2
  • Basel Code: B***0
  • HS CODE: ***4.*9.***0
At visual inspection, the scrap appears as a hank of long wires characterized by the presence of ash and iron oxide. Please note that the material is not in shredded form.
No rubber andfibre contamination is detected since the temperatures in the furnace easily reaches ***- **0 °C and all contaminants that usually affect this material (rubber/fibre) are completely burned in the process.

The stock appears homogenous and it doesnt contain any foreign material

Please note that the surface of the material is oxidised since it is cooled with water as soon as it is collected from the furnace. 

The material can be delivered loaded in loose form in a *0 Upgrade Container
