Disc filter is composed of
cylindrical filtering core laminated by thin disc, one of the two
sides of each round chip shall be distributed with many S-shaped
grooves, the other side is concentric annular groove. Different
filtering accuracies of disc filter can be obtained by changing the
dimension of the groove, which is within *0~**0
meshes.
Under the normal operation of disc
filter, the disc are tightly locked. For manual cleaning, it shall
remove the filtering screen, loosen the gland nut. The screen shall
be washed by clean water.
The storage capacity of impurities
of disc filter is larger than that of screen filter; therefore it
shall not be cleaned very often. It can be applied to deal with
inorganic impurities ad irrigation system with high requirement on
filtering accuracy.
