Royal Canin Maxi Adult
- Dog food for large dogs (*6 - *5 kg) from *5 or *8 months to 5

Large adult dogs have a relatively small sensitive digestive system
and thus a limited digestive capacity.
The relative weight of the gastrointestinal tract in relation to
body weight is only 3.5% for large dogs, while 7.0% for small
dogs.
The intestinal walls are more permeable than in small dogs, which
can lead to an increased water intake into the intestine and thus a
higher dropping water content.
Increased fermentation activities of the thick thrombacteria can
also cause flatulence in large dogs.
