The mud pressure in the riser acts on the hydraulic oil through the
rubber cup in the sensor, and then is transmitted to the spring
tube of the riser pressure indicator through the connecting
pipeline. The free end of the spring tube is displaced, and the
gauge needle is driven to deflect through the amplification
mechanism, so as to indicate the riser pressure.
